Environmental Engineer

Oasis Consulting Services is currently hiring an Environmental Engineer to support our Roswell, Georgia office and Metro Atlanta region. Applicants will be responsible for project management, report preparation, and permit compliance. Position requires travel as-needed. Level and pay commensurate with experience. Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the Environmental Director, the selected candidate(s) will be involved in one more or one of the following field and office tasks:
  • Project management
  • Report preparation or senior review of reports related to landfill compliance monitoring including statistical analysis
  • Experience with basic elements related to solid waste including engineering, corrective action, minor modification, landfill suitability, etc. a plus
  • Report preparation or senior review of reports related to due diligence (Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA, remediation)
  • Potential for report preparation/senior review related to hazardous materials testing (Lead-Based Paint, Asbestos Containing Materials, Mold)
  • Potential for employee supervision and management
  • Professional certification or potential for professional certification a must
  • Limited travel possible
  Requirements:
  • B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master's degree a plus
  • 1 to 2 years of professional experience related to the environmental field
  • Preferred but not required: EIT certificate, 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour Refreshers
  • Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in Georgia a plus
  • Willingness to travel in order to complete field assignments
  • Ability to work outdoors and in certain weather conditions
