Notable Accomplishment

When groundwater was encountered above that which had been anticipated, Oasis worked with the design team to establish a system for permanent groundwater control, which was provided during the excavation and construction of the mat foundation.

Also, as part of the groundwater control during construction activities, it was deemed necessary to run continuous water discharge from the site. Oasis provided monthly sampling in order to maintain the water discharge permit with the City of Atlanta for the duration of the project. The client benefitted by avoiding delays in construction, and the project was completed in time for the 2019 school year.
