Project summary

Oasis Consulting Services was contracted by Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. (ABI) to provide Construction Materials Testing services and other supplemental services as needed for the Northeast Trail, Segment 2.

Since June 2022, Oasis has been serving as the Quality Assurance Representative for construction materials testing services for the construction of the Atlanta BeltLine Northeast Trail, Segment 2, Phase 2. Both the northern and southern sections of the trail include stormwater management systems, safety fencing, lighting, and a new concrete deck on the existing bridge over Buford Springs Connector. Safety rails, lighting, and a new concrete deck will also be installed on the existing trestle bridge over Clear Creek. A ramp system and fiber duct bank will be constructed at Piedmont Road, with lighting, camera installation, and trail paving.

The Atlanta BeltLine is a transportation and economic development project that aims to reuse 22-miles of railroad corridors that encircle the City of Atlanta with trails, walkways, transit, and greenspace. The Northeast Trail of the Atlanta BeltLine will connect the Eastside Trail to the Lindbergh MARTA station. Segment 2 of the trail will be approximately 1.2 miles in length, and will run from Westminster to Mayson Street / Plasters Avenue.
