Project summary
Oasis Consulting Services provided on-call construction materials field and laboratory testing for Phase I of the Bill Carruth Parkway road-widening project in Paulding County, Georgia, and for the intersection improvements during Phase II.
The Bill Carruth Parkway Widening and Reconstruction included construction of a 1.36-mile roadway. The project also included construction of a bridge, embankment construction, and road relocation. The total embankment construction was 145,000 c.y. Intersection improvement projects were undertaken at two locations: Georgia Highway 92 and East Paulding Drive, and Georgia Highway 92 and Stilesboro Road. Intersection improvements included the addition of turn lanes and upgrading intersection utilities.
Oasis provided construction materials and laboratory testing for soil, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt. The work was funded by the SPLOST program.
